ONE-ON-ONE COACHING

A Director’s Perspective – A Working Actor’s Insight – A Creator’s Initiative

Still not sure? Book a short consultation where we’ll discuss your goals, I’ll answer any questions, and we can see if it’s a fit!

 🎭 ACTING TECHNIQUE

Build depth, truth, and confidence—on stage and off. We’ll work scene by scene to expand your range, connect with material, and sharpen your instincts. I’m a big believer in learning by doing.

🎥 ACTING FOR CAMERA

Master the nuance of on-camera performance—how to work with the lens, access emotion quickly (as if on set), and create a full, 3-dimensional world. Whether it’s drama, comedy, or commercial work, your performance will feel honest and alive.

🎬 AUDITION & SELF-TAPE COACHING

On a deadline? Let’s break down your sides fast (ask me about “Scene Scaffolding”). We’ll craft a mini-movie that’s specific to you, building a real world that casting directors can step into. You’ll walk away with a tape that says, “Here’s how I would play the role.”

🎤 COACHING FOR NON-ACTORS

Confidence and empathy are muscles we can grow. I coach professionals, creatives, and leaders to communicate with clarity, presence, and emotional connection. Past clients include:

  • Keynote speakers
  • Content creators
  • Doctors
  • Wedding toasters
  • Corporate teams
  • Consultants

Whether you’re speaking to an audience of 1 or 1,000, I’ll help you feel equipped and embodied.

✨ LAUNCHING YOUR OWN CREATIVE WORK

Have a project in mind? I’ll help you plan, develop, and find the tools to bring it to life. From solo shows to short films to YouTube channels, this is a key pillar of my coaching: What can you create yourself? We’ll figure it out together—and get you moving.

A: Clients create their own schedule based on their needs:

  1. Weekly or Bi-weekly coachings for accountability and continuous growth. Many students choose to subscribe to recurring lessons – like going to the gym. Via our Coaching Subscriptions, we have students who coach anywhere from 3 times a week to once a month – you choose a schedule that makes sense for you and your investment.
  2. Coaching Packs – these are new! If you want a lower price on sessions but don’t know when you’ll need to schedule, we highly encourage students to purchase a Lesson Pack: when you buy multiple coaching sessions in bulk at a lower price, you have a year to use those credits whenever it will come in  most handy.
  3. One-time Coaching / Consult – of course, you may always purchase a one-off session as needed via our coaching booking page.

A: The session varies based on client needs.

  • Self-tape filming – when you need to quickly squeeze the juice out of an audition and complete a wham-bam tape ready for submission. Meg also has the ability to record your tape via Zoom itself. These sessions usually involve a quick read of the scene, a brief breakdown analysis, a quick ‘trying on’ of the character, and then a work session where, beat by beat, Meg assists the client in finding their own unique take on the scene.
  • Actor Gym (Scenework) – this is where the student works on multiple scenes to learn their own process through trial and error. Meg pulls a variety of scenes so that each student gets experience with multiple genres…after enough work in this space, you will come away with an approach to scenework that you can rely on EVERY SINGLE TIME. Some things you might explore in this kind of session – Scene Scaffolding (for quick text analysis and breakdown), Meisner work for activity, the importance of setting, and what is your ‘as if’.
  • Business Consult Session – Meg will go through your ‘actor materials’ (headshot, resume, reel, etc) as well as help you comb through any resources you have at your fingertips to start building your own personal actor business.
  • Curated Session for Non-Actors – see below!

A: Private acting coaching can also be a huge benefit to those who aren’t actors. These tools strengthen one’s emotional intelligence, develop confidence in any performance/business setting, and encourage empathy in personal interaction. There are many reasons a non-actor might want to seek out an acting coach – some examples from past and current clients include:

  • Preparation for keynote speeches, presentations, and proposals
  • Writing and performance of an important wedding speech
  • Assistance with scattered thought organization and proper expression of ideas with others
  • Improving speech and sentence formation, especially for those with impairments
  • Corporate training to increase empathy & listening skills, thus improving client relationships
  • Writers looking to develop more complex characters and storytelling elements in their scripts/novels
  • Develop podcast host conversational skills that lead to more engaging discussions & performances
  • Social media influencers who wish to improve their performance & delivery of online content

A: Meg uses Stripe pay via the website for secure payments. For subscriptions, auto billing occurs every 4-weeks.

A: All cancellations made 24-hours before your scheduled session are fully refundable. Changes that are made at least 24-hours in advance also are completely transferrable.

Any cancellations made for students on recurring subscriptions become a credit on the next billing cycle. Requests can be made for a refund to the original payment method if so-desired.

A: Working with an acting coach online is a game-changer for aspiring actors at any stage of their careers. While it’s always preferable to coach acting clients in person – not every would-be actor lives where the action is. Previously the inability to train with a Los Angeles acting coach or hire a New York acting coach was a handicap you had to handle. However, when you learn acting online, you can accomplish great things at great distances!

With online acting coaching now more of a norm in this industry, you’re not limited to ‘find an acting coach near me.’ As Meg is often traveling for business or on set in various locations, Zoom lessons make sure she is always available when most needed and reliable to those who have opted to commit to weekly growth.

In addition, this business is now almost solely digital as far as auditions. Self-tapes are industry standard and callbacks are conducted via ecocast or zoom meetings. Meg believes that the sooner you incorporate the screen into your work, the quicker you’ll be able to do your best work OVER a screen when it most counts.

Here’s why online acting lessons work wonders and how they’ll help you shine bright:
